Testimonials

Ms. Weizman has been our piano teacher for over half of a decade, and she has taken our children from novices to child musicians who not only feel comfortable playing complex piano pieces but have a love of music as well as the process of learning music and practicing.
She started with my children when they were very young and is able to connect with children of all ages; to see each child’s strengths and adapt her teaching style to the individual student’s learning style. She allows the children to grow while instilling a love of music.
While she is technically demanding, she provides the children with tools that allow them to master the material through practice and hard work. She has provided a well-rounded musical education.
She is reliable and worked with us around our schedule. That she comes to our house was a huge bonus! It made all the difference to our children.

The Beckers

Elissa Weizman was able to customize our daughter’s piano lessons around her teenage interests. The result is that our daughter loves to play the piano again. Her kind, patient nature lends itself to building self-esteem and confidence in learning music. It is a pleasure to have her in our home each week.

The R. Stein Family

I highly recommend Elissa Weizman from Suite Music Studios. She has been coming to our house for piano lessons for my teenage daughter for over a year now and she has really rekindled my daughter’s love for playing the piano. Elissa is able to craft a piano lesson around my daughter’s interests, which makes it fun for her as well. You cannot beat the convenience of having her come to your home. It is a win-win situation for my family. Elissa is sweet, kind and patient. 216-904-7494.

Richard S. from The Preserve

Ms. Weizman is a very good piano teacher for children. She finds exciting ways to motivate the student. She explains new concepts thoroughly and has a knack for teaching to the level of the student. She plays and sings new songs so that the student has a clear idea of what the song could sound like. Ms. Weizman finds creative approaches to the challenges that students face. Most importantly her enthusiasm spills over to the student and makes learning to play piano fun.

Lauren and Katie I.

Elissa and I spent a short time together on my piano studies due to my overwhelming work schedule. We worked on reading upper clef vs. lower clef music on the staff and helping me to become a more ‘balanced’ player. She stressed the importance of nuanced playing that includes dynamics, expression, texture and form instead of just playing a bunch of ‘black dots’ on the page. Elissa teaches adult students with humor, patience and a sense of partnership toward a mutually satisfying musical experience. I highly recommend Elissa as a music teacher for a broad range of people, children through adults.

Sam K., Attorney

Elisa Weizman uses a unique blend of humor and encouragement to make studying the piano as an adult very appealing. She uncovers the skills that the student uses in professional life and extrapolates them to the piano. Music theory that was meaningless as a child seems perfectly logical because of Elisa’s ability to connect the theory to the compositions. She is happy to have the student suggest a style or piece of music explore and has a broad knowledge base from which to draw. Elisa’s positive focus encourages the adult student to persevere and makes practice feel like an escape from responsibilities rather than an another item on the to do list.
